The 2018 40 Hour Famine is about a generation of young New Zealanders standing united with the children of South Sudan. The money raised from this year's 40 Hour Famine will be used to fund World Vision's work supporting South Sudanese refugees in Northern Uganda. The World Vision 40 Hour Famine is a national movement of young Kiwis who are passionate about creating positive impact here and overseas. Through the 40 Hour Famine, World Vision aims to inspire, empower and educate young New Zealanders to be a voice for justice in the world, while raising funds for children living in desperate poverty in countries around the world.
