Bio
Alison is an emerging, New Zealand Artist and winner of the Clifton's People's Choice Art Prize 2013. She began her lifelong journey into creativity as a poet and has had numerous poems, accompanied by her own illustrations, published in various New Zealand and International Anthologies and Journals. Alison's early work was predominantly therapeutic in nature, years later, however, she began to explore and appreciate the natural environment around her, creating photo-realistic, intricately detailed landscapes with digital painting. Her artwork is comprised of, Mixed Media: Acrylic, Felt tip marker and Pastel, which has been digitally enhanced in print. Each, unique print is sold as a limited edition 1/5, is hand signed and numbered. Unsold paintings can also be sold as one off exclusives at a price negotiated with the Artist.
