I can still do the odd one but due to this affecting my wrists I was happy to step down & help Taitlyn learn the ropes who seems to have the 6th & 7th sense when it comes to horses so we work well together. I too have a 6th sense when it comes to horses & can read most horses without a problem. Specialised in problem stallions for over 20 years. Helped teach people how to enjoy owning a stallion & keeping everything happy at home. In the past I prepared & Sold sporthorses horses Nationally & Internationally to Australia, Japan, Tahiti, USA & Korea Started horses & ponies in both saddle & harness (racing style) Alot of experience in rescuing horses & ponies & retraining them for riding & harness or helping them find their own purpose even if that includes just being a paddock mate. Taitlyn - 18 years experience with horses Always been sidekick to her mother Kiri since she could walk has pleasure ridden up until 2014 when decided to take up low key dressage & showing on the well performed Ridden Stallion Barnon Imperial Jack (Imp) owned by Norm Clark Inhand shown since she was 5 years old in miniature welsh rings at A&P to National level including HOY Handler for several owners for showing ponies & horses inhand including stallions in Welsh, Gypsy Cob, Golden Horse & Connemarra Sections. Stallion Handler for Te Manaia Stallions, Kingslea Park Stud & Gypsy Magic Stud Handler for many champion & supreme champions at A&P & National Level including HOY. Kidz Kartz driver 2004-2014 Winner of NZ Cup 2012 NZ Cup Prelude 2013 Auckland Cup 2013 Franklin Cup 2013 Kumeu Cup 2013 & 2014 Last Chance Cup 2014 Represented NZ in Australia in the Pony Trot Interdominions 2013 Trainer of 3 ponies to qualify in the 2012 NZ Cup Trainer of 2011 Hawera Cup Easter Series Trainer of Pony of the Year 2010-2014 Trainer of Hi Points Pony Winner 2010 Hi Point Driver of the Year 2010 Horsemanship Award 2011 & 2012 Stable Hand for McGowan Racing Stables Stable Hand & Junior Driver Cadet for Zenola Farms (Geoff & Aria Small) Has a golden touch when it comes to horses especially in harness racing & Inhand showing. As unusual as it is for a Mother Daughter Team to work well together, we do & we both know each others ways like the back of our own hands & can provide genuine services that work to the Equine World without the rough or bullying approach. Both of us have worked with problem equines in the past & turned them completely around. We probably have made our own way of doing things like most but are happy to still keep learning as we go & willing to try new ways & treat all horses as individuals. Instead of doing so we realised for some reason that just seems to be a part of life sadly in this horse world in this country but the difference is we definitely learnt from mistakes made & changed things that needed to change & all our clients are all very happy with our work which we really do enjoy working with horses & helping people that need help.
