We run an authentic New Zealand farmstay experience in Hokitika on the stunning wild West Coast of New Zealand.

We have two properties available. One is a historic cottage beside the sea in the township. The other is a farmstay in Blue Spur, Hokitika. Welcome to Blue Spur Farmstay. Come and stay with us in our large farmhouse sited on 75acres up the Arahura Valley minutes from the Arahura River. 5mins drive to the beach & 10min from the town centre. Feed the many farm animals, relax and take in the views of the farm & bush. If you are after peace and quiet and enjoy the tranquility of being in the country then this is the place for you. Guests can spend time in the paddocks with the good natured stock and feed the pigs and birds anytime. ** Our house is completely off-grid. All our power comes from a solar panel array. All our water is rainwater collected from the roof. Many of the features in the house are from building recyclers. * There are tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge in your room. A simple breakfast of muesli and Greek yoghurt/milk, fruit with homemade jam or our honey is available.
