The City of Auckland Pipe Band is a Non-for-profit Charity organisation. The band regularly competes in Grade 3 competitions and rehearses each Thursday evening at Mt Albert Grammar from 7:30pm.

City of Auckland Pipe Band is a young talented band of passionate pipers and drummers from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. The band is ranked Grade 3 under the Royal New Zealand Pipe Band Association and recently competed at the New Zealand National Competition in Nelson placing 2nd in the March, Strathspey and Reel (Set) event. Highlights of the Band's recent travels include performing in the 2017 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Wellington, New Zealand and attending as international guest artists at the 2017 Festival du Interceltique in Lorient, Brittanny, France. The band can offer a variety of performance options for private and public events, with options ranging from solo pipers for Weddings, Funerals, Birthday and Graduations, through to full band turnouts for Corporate events and street parades.
