The City Of Auckland Singers, formerly the Bruce Murray Singers for 45 years, are an award-winning choir who have been wowing audiences with their unique blend of popular music for over forty years. Nowadays snappy choreography enhances their music and adds to the enjoyment of their programmes. Their repertoire embraces popular music - inspirational numbers, traditional favourites, spirituals, the best of Broadway and show music and hits from the 30s to the present day. In sharing their love of music with others, the group have also aimed for excellence. Not only have they entertained at social functions for clubs, festivals and gardens; but they have also performed at major concert venues in Auckland with other top choirs and bands. Whilst competitions are not their key focus, they have achieved excellent results at the local, national and international level.
