The purpose of our organisation is to prepare digital citizens by providing whanau (tamariki, rangatahi, pakeke, kaumatua) access to safe online, mobile, immersive, interactive and digital tools that will encourage whanau to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically as a way to prepare them for increased opportunities in both the technology sector specifically and the digital future more generally.

Digital Natives Academy (DNA) is a non-profit whose aim is to inspire our next generation of digital leaders. Established in Rotorua, the heart of local innovation in 2014, DNA seeks to encourage whānau & families to create, transform, shape and develop their own digital worlds. DNA's kaupapa is to inspire whānau to become creators, developers and innovators of digital technology, rather than simple users and consumers of it. DNA is about giving our community the confidence to think creatively, work collaboratively and reason systematically. We do this through a range of online and offline activities related to the digital technology sector. Including coding, game dev, minecraft, 3D animation, YouTube and professional eSports coaching.
