Harry Geddes established Geddes Dental Renovations, a denture specialist company in 1945. The company became a household name when Harry recorded the now famous radio jingle to the tune of "Clementine" - "Broke my dentures..." In 1988 Keith Pine purchased the company, renamed it Geddes Dental Group, and expanded it into New Zealand's first multi branch and multi disciplinary dental group. In 2002 Geddes Dental Group was sold to Abano Healthcare Group Limited. In 2005 two southern branches started to operate independently under the name of Guardian Dental. In 2014 this was purchased by V & M dental limited operating as Gaurdian dental care preserving the quality, knowledge and commitment of the past 60 years.
