At Village Kids your children will experience a supportive and challenging environment where their individual needs are acknowledged and recognised. We have qualified and experienced teachers, excellent ratios and a holistic approach to our programme to ensure that your child gets the best care and education. Te Whaariki (New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum) is used as a base to develop programmes to meet the individual learning of each child. This ensures that development and growth can be assessed by teachers through observations. Children are encouraged to develop independence as well as group skills, to build their self-esteem and social skills. Teachers and children work together to create an environment that is both challenging and fun where they can develop essential learning and concepts skills. Families are warmly welcomed and their contribution is valued. We work in partnership with families to ensure the best outcome for every child. All children become part of a family when they attend Village Kids. Children are encouraged in decision making and start developing skills to deal with life, both now and in the future.
