General Info
Hey, My name's Paul Cockburn - Owner/Operator of Kapiti Cycles. Kapiti Cycles specializes in Bicycle Services, Repairs, Accessories & Bicycle Sales to order. A lil about myself: I‘ve been a keen cyclist from a young age competing in Mountain bike events, Endurance rides, Multi sports events, Road cycling events, BMX (dirt jumping, street, park & mini ramp) & have always been a keen commuter in using my bicycles whenever possible. Now, I'm currently enjoying getting out on my XC bike, tearing it around the hillsides, old logging tracks & man made trails. I’ve been lucky to of worked in 4 bikes shops in the lower north island, working as a cycle technician and in the selling of bikes & accessories. In this time i have gained 2 Shimano Service Technician Certificates in 2001 & 2009, as well as working and sharing ideas with some really great people in the bicycle trade I've been lucky to work along side. I would like to utilise the skills and experience that I have gained in the bike industry and help people enjoy their riding experiences to the fullest. I also would like to develop opportunities to bring people together who have a common interest in bike riding. I can succeed in this venture by providing quality workmanship and exceptional service to my clients. The services I will be offering are as followed: • Cycle assembly • Wheel builds • Wheel truing • Safety checks • Maintenance and repairs of bicycles • Cleaning of bicycles and parts • Dismantle and packaging • One-on-one service tuition • Mechanic/Support crew for hire- available for Individuals or teams competing • Bicycle evaluation/Quotes . School programs . Events Also I'm happy to fit your internet sourced parts with no extra hidden costs.. =) I look forward to meeting you, Paul.C
