It is a fully self contained studio unit featuring exposed macrocarpa rafters and ceiling, carpet and tiled floors. It has full kitchen facilities, linen provided, and 30 channel cable T.V. The Cottage also has its own washer drier. Situated less than 10 metres from the high tide mark of the beautiful Taipa Estuary and overlooking Taipa Beach in the far North. There is safe swimming for children, good diving, fishing and shell fish right at your door step. The Doubtless Bay area offers many restaurants and cafes, local arts, crafts and potteries. There is also a glow worm cave within a short drive. Historical Mangonui village is approx 7 km drive which has shops, cafes, the World Famous Fish Shop, and historical walks. The Taipa Estuary which is below the deck offers safe swimming for children, shell fish collecting at low tide and excellent fishing off the rocks. A true fisherman's paradise right on the doorstep of Taipa Estuary. The far North of New Zealand which include Taipa (Doubtless Bay), Karikari Peninsula and Far North (Cape Reinga and 90 Mile beach..) have some amazing beaches with white sand and crystal clear water.
