Skateboarding generally gets a bad wrap but you can't trust everything you are told. There are many lessons to be learned for young kids on a skateboard. Getting up after you fall and trying again, patience, persistence and confidence in your own abilities, the abilities of others and a respect of other peoples efforts. Most importantly though, skating is fun and a good reason to get off the computer and get outside amongst the fresh air and sun rays!
