Methven Library is a boutique library, which lends out new release books and popular authors from the last decade, amongst other books. The Methven Library is located at 60 Main St and is run by volunteers who open the library Tuesday 2 – 4pm, Friday 2 – 4pm and 7 – 8pm. Books are loaned out for 3 weeks. Subscriptions are $15pa, children’s books are free and adult’s books are 50 cents each. The modern library was opened in 2018 on the site of the original library built in 1883. The building also houses a Meeting Room that is hired out to the public, along with the Methven Museum run by the Methven Historical Society. For further information please message Methven Library.
