Established in 1993, Premier Hairdressing Academy is based in three fantastic locations: Auckland, Napier and Wellington. We are the specialist New Zealand Hairdressing training academy; study with us and while you learn hairdressing skills, you will also grow your life skills, self esteem and confidence, equipping yourself for a lifelong career. Using our practical, hands-on methods you will work towards nationally recognised qualifications that are approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. As you study and learn, we provide pathways to work experience in hairdressing salons that often result in employment. Each of our programmes teaches skills you will be able to learn in many industries, including reception, retailing, and sales ability. We also focus on the literacy, numeracy and language levels needed for success in a hairdressing career. As a Premier Hairdressing Academy student, you will learn from tutors who love the fashion and flare of the hairdressing industry, are highly qualified, love what they do, and who are passionate about sharing their skills.
