Rotorua Hospice is partially funded by the government and we rely on the generosity of individual donors, community groups and corporate supporters to make up the funding shortfall which is projected to total over $800,000 per annum. www.rotoruahospice.co.nz

To provide hope and dignity through exemplary care to patients and their families / whanau in partnership with fellow professionals.

Our services include: - A palliative care nursing team who visit patients in their homes and are available 24/7 for advice and support. - Grief and bereavement counselling and support. - Specialist equipment to loan. - Day Stay activities once a week - Coordination of palliative beds in local rest homes for respite or end stage care. - Education programmes

The Rotorua Community Hospice supports patients to be cared for at home, to live each day as fully as possible and to die with dignity in the place of their choice.
