Rheum to grow friendships, rheum to grow awareness, and rheum to grow your soul, relationships & network! Use this page as a resource to meet other young people diagnosed with arthritis & related disease! We hope to bring together older teens and young adults with this sometimes-disabling disease through online chats & communities, newsletters, support groups, and events. We wish for you to utilize this page to network, set up support groups, happy hours, fundraisers, or gatherings with friends, share stories of triumphs, trials, and tribulations, treatments, and so on. You're not the only one - and it ISN'T just an "old person's" disease! You are NOT alone in your diagnosis! We want to spread awareness that it is not only young children or senior citizens that get arthritis, but that people of ANY age -- including teenagers and young adults -- can be diagnosed with one of the 117 types of arthritis and related rheumatic and autoimmune disease.
