We are committed to always remember the sacrifices of those have gone on before us. We must respect and trust each other, we must protect one another. We will always rejoice in our Maoritanga and accept change and progress in the continuing re-definition of our tikanga. We must strive for the upholding of the dignity, humility, integrity, and credibility of the individuals that make up this whanau and indeed the whanau itself. We must support the right for us to continue to challenge ourselves individually and collectively in regard to the way in which we are progressing and developing. We must continue to learn from our mistakes and rejoice and celebrate with our successes. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to equity, to fairness in all aspects of our whanau. We acknowledge that all things are not equal, that perception and reality mean that we will see things in different ways yet we will always be guided in our periods of disharmony by our whakatauki "Kokiritika i roto i te kotahitanga". We value, cherish and respect our diverse and rich tribal backgrounds. We will honour this diverse tribal heritage and the co-operative movement of this rich, diverse heritage is acknowledged as one of the most powerful influences and drivers that have shaped this whanau. We are committed to and value always all Maori whether they be in the leadership of Ahuatanga Maori, whether they be in prison, in a gang, a beneficiary, unemployed, in hospital, dirty, unkept, unwanted, unclean, undesirable, ugly, poor, deprived and impoverished. We will measure ourselves and the way in which we treat with and uplift these our people. We respect integrity and credibility in the way in which we conduct ourselves, we value courage and tenacity and after all is done we will conduct ourselves with dignity and humility.
