I had written something “flash” in here, dripping with selling, loaded with words like hideaway, escapism, hubbub and city life, I even threw in a light-hearted comparison between Nelson and New York . My spiel sounded like a PR company had snatched my brain and spewed out a sickly humorous spin. I read “ABOUT US” aloud to my son, my vowels slowed, my integrity dragged my words back through my teeth, I was embarrassed at how thin I sounded. So..... Simply.
