The Rotorua SPCA is a non-profit organisation that speaks for those that cannot speak for themselves - our animals. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations, sponsorships, bequests and volunteers.

Getting a pet is a large responsibility. Please ensure you have the time, finances and love to support this and you will reap huge rewards. Consider the SPCA first so that we can get abused, & abandoned animals into good FURever homes.

As an Animal Welfare Charity our role is to work with our local community here in Rotorua to uphold Animal Welfare Guidelines. To ensure that animals have the 5 freedoms. Access to food, water and shelter, exercise and veterinary care plus love and attention they deserve.
